About Madderdoit?

 

Born in midlands England, raised in Cornwall, destructive in Brighton then Bristol; and now residing in Laois, Ireland. 

Madderdoit? is a self taught street artist, known for his use of bright and bold colours mixed with monochrome imagery. 
While studying media and photography at college he discovered his passion and love for the world of graffiti and street art.

Initially documenting friends in their graffiti antics he soon went on to creating his own works for the streets, experimenting with stencils and spray paints.

After moving to Brighton in 2015, Madderdoit? was captivated and inspired by the city's vibrant street art and graffiti scene. He began taking his work to the streets under his pseudonym, which has now become synonymous with his bold and colorful artwork.

Madderdoit?'s work features a mixture of monochrome imagery set against bright backgrounds and often centers around the theme of love. His style is unique and recognizable, blending vibrant colors with intricate details to create eye-catching pieces.

In addition to his street art, Madderdoit? has worked with several charities, using his artwork to promote mental health awareness and suicide prevention, causes that hold deep meaning for him.

His work has gained international recognition, having been sold in over 15 countries around the world. Despite this success, Madderdoit? remains dedicated to creating artwork that connects with his audience and reflects his personal values.
